Insights (Apple Intelligence)

Apple Intelligence draws a fitting insight from the moods you have recorded. Insights are generated safely by on-device AI, without your data ever leaving the device. (iPhone 15 Pro and later)

The Stats tab with the Insights sheet open: a sentence about the week, three observations under it, and a closing note.

Vedana has no account, no login and no server of ours. Entries are written to the device and, if the user is signed in to iCloud, mirrored through their own private iCloud database, which we cannot read. Nothing is sent to us, and there is no analytics or advertising SDK in the app.

A journal entry can be locked with a passcode held in the device Keychain, and notes are encrypted with a key that never leaves the device. Data can be exported to a file or deleted outright from within the app.

Insights are written by Apple’s on-device model, so the summary it reads stays on the phone. A locked note is left out of that summary rather than decrypted into it.
