Divasa Privacy Policy
Divasa is a personal day planner for iPhone and Apple Watch. This policy explains what data the app handles and how. In short: your data stays with you — on your device, and in your own iCloud if you are signed in. Divasa has no accounts, no servers of ours, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDKs. We never receive your plans.
Data we handle
All of the following is created by you and stored on your device, and mirrored to your own iCloud if you are signed in — see iCloud sync. None of it is sent to us or to any third party.
- Plans — the sentence a plan came from, its title, date and time, repeat, alert and alarm settings, note and links, checklist, and whether it is done.
- Missed plans — the reason you give for a plan whose time went by, and your Look Back notes.
- Places (optional) — if you set a place for a plan, its name and coordinates are stored with that plan and shown on the in-app map.
- People and contacts (optional) — the names written in a plan, and anyone you pick from Contacts or any number you type in. For a picked contact only the name, the contact's identifier and the phone numbers are stored with that plan; your contacts are never copied.
- App Lock passcode (optional) — if you enable App Lock, your PIN is stored in the Keychain on that device only; it does not sync. Face ID / Touch ID is handled by the system and never exposed to the app.
- Preferences — settings such as language, theme, briefing time, and holidays.
Device permissions
Each permission is asked for once, when it is first needed, and the rest of the app works without it. Where each stands is shown in Settings ▸ Device Permissions.
- Notifications and alarms — to schedule, on the device, the alert you set for each plan and the alarm that rings even in silent mode.
- Location — only to open the map for picking a plan's place where you are, and to prefer nearby results. Your location is never stored.
- Contacts — read on the device only, to find the contacts with a name you wrote in a plan.
- Calendar — with Show Holidays on, the holiday calendar on your iPhone is read; nothing is written to your calendars, and your other events are not read.
- Camera — the text in a photo of a paper planner or an invitation is read on the device (Apple Vision) and put into the input field. The photo is not kept.
What goes to Apple's services
- Place search — what you type to find a place is sent to Apple Maps (MapKit) to get results, under Apple's privacy policy.
- Other map apps — tapping Open in Another Map hands the place's name and coordinates to the map app you pick (Naver Map, KakaoMap, Google Maps) or its website. Nothing is sent unless you tap it.
- Siri and Shortcuts — when you add a plan with Siri, what you say is handled by Apple's Siri; the plan itself is made by the app on the device.
iCloud sync
If you are signed in to iCloud, Divasa mirrors your plans to the private database of its iCloud container, so the same plans appear on your other devices. That storage is yours: it sits in your iCloud account under Apple's terms, and a private database is not readable by the developer. We have no access to it and no copy of it.
If you are not signed in to iCloud, or iCloud is unavailable, the app keeps everything locally and works the same. You can turn the sync off in Settings ▸ [your name] ▸ iCloud ▸ Apps Using iCloud.
Widgets and Apple Watch
So that the widgets and Apple Watch can show them, the app writes a summary of the next three days' plans to shared storage on the device (an App Group) and sends it to your paired Apple Watch. A plan checked off or added by voice on the watch is passed to your iPhone, which stores it. This data moves only between your own devices.
On-device intelligence
On supported devices, reading your sentences, the briefing, suggested checklist steps, and the calendar's insight use Apple's on-device foundation models (Apple Intelligence). Your plans are processed locally on your device and are not sent to Apple or to us. On other devices, the app's own rules read the same sentences on the device.
Purchases
Divasa Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system, as a yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. All payment processing is handled by Apple; Divasa never receives or stores your payment details. The app only checks, through Apple's StoreKit, whether Pro is active on your Apple Account. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings.
Your controls
- Delete — A deleted plan goes to the Trash and is deleted for good after 14 days. Until then you can restore it, or delete it for good at once, in Settings ▸ Trash. Deleting it for good also removes it from your iCloud copy.
- Permissions — Any permission you granted can be turned off at any time in the iPhone's Settings app, through Settings ▸ Device Permissions ▸ Change in Settings.
- Uninstall — Removing the app deletes its local data from the device.
Data sharing and retention
We do not sell, share, or transmit your data, and we never receive it. Your plans are retained until you delete them or uninstall the app; deleting them also removes them from the iCloud copy described above. If you have iCloud device backup enabled, your on-device app data may additionally be included in your encrypted Apple backup, which is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Children
Divasa is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
